According to an email received from Cumberland County Planning Director Kirk Stoner, the Miller Bridge at the base of Slate Hill Road where it crosses the Yellow Breeches Creek will not be ready for vehicular traffic on the first day of trout season, March 29.
Kirk did share, though, that the contractors working on the bridge plan to clean up the area enough to allow anglers access to the stream around the bridge.
Repair work may be done on the bridge by the first week of April. The bridge has been closed to vehicles since late 2005 when a large amount of stone facing on the downstream side of the bridge fell into the Yellow Breeches (Link).
