As posted previously (Link), LAT and the Lower Allen Authority both decided to not join the Capital Region COG's law suit filed against the PA Department of Environmental Protection.
That's no longer the case.
On April 3, apparently as a direct result both of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's (CBF) appeal of its NPDES permit and failure to reach a compromise with CBF after a recent meeting, the Authority joined the COG law suit. A check was mailed April 4.
Will the Township now follow suit, and join its neighboring municipalities and authorities? I can't say any more than the matter should be discussed at the BOC meeting on the 28th.
In the interim, if you have any opinion on the initial $2,000 investment the law suit will require, or other facets of this issue, please let me know as soon as possible.
