FYI, the newest addition to the Lower Allen Township Fire Department's fleet arrived at Station 1 this week.

By the way, the current ladder truck has been sold to a fire department in the state. The terms of the sales agreement, though, allow it to remain in LAT to protect our citizens and businesses until the new truck is outfitted and ready for duty.
The new truck has been purchased in accord with LAT's standing policy of rotating major capital purchases to minimize the impact on our debt service. The current ladder truck has been in service for more than a decade and a half, and has delivered a quality return on LAT's investment.
