Nighttime Single Lane Closures on PA 581 Eastbound and Westbound for median work.
Monday, April 6, 2009, to Thursday, April 9, 2009 (Nighttime); and Monday, April 13, 2009, to April 17, 2009 (Nighttime)
The contractor anticipates implementing nighttime single lane traffic patterns on PA 581 Eastbound and Westbound to remove the existing median barrier, and place temporary concrete barrier. Additional work will include the installation of temporary bituminous pavement and pavement markings. This lane closure will begin east of the I-83 /PA 581 intersection and continue through to the PA 641 Mechanicsburg exit. These closures should be expected between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. All ramp movements at the US 15/PA 581 interchange will remain open to unrestricted traffic during the closures.
