From Confused to Confident: Why I Launched My AI Trainer Course

I just read a line in Mark Schaefer’s new book, “How AI Changes Your Customers,” that transfixed me:

The book is phenomenal. In less than 200 pages, Mark sums up how AI is changing you and me right now, and offers some bold and insightful thoughts about what it all means.

More importantly, though, I kept running into quotes like this. They kept thwacking me in the forehead, trying to get my attention.

So I listened to the signals and formally launched my AI Trainer service.

Gulp.

Vulnerable with a Capital V

It’s been three years since ChatGPT launched. In that time, I’ve devoted hundreds of hours to figuring out both how to use AI and how not to use AI.

There’s been a lot of trial and error.

I mistakenly thought ChatGPT could do math well enough to calculate the statistical significance of survey results. At the time, it couldn’t.

And I figured out how to craft powerful prompts which yield thorough research outputs, assisted with article production, and supercharged my strategic vision.

Although I gleaned nuggets from Frank Prendergast, Dan Nestle, Tyler Stambaugh, and others, its taken hours of solo slogging to hone my skills.
